"Public art, in all its diversity, can meditae all spaces as places"- John Newling

The project examines the artistic elements present in the city while delving into the concept of an "open-air museum" to redesign the city center in a way that enhances the well-being of its residents and aligns with Arad's desert character. At the same time, it aims to attract art enthusiasts once again, recognizing architecture as a central artistic expression in the city's identity.


The primary material I worked with was light, using it to create dynamic rhythms for pedestrians, spaces that draw visitors’ attention, and areas designed for human-scale presence and experience.
